Can't Quite Get It Out!

So - I tried and tried to get video of Pierson laughing. He tries so hard to get the noise out but he just can't push it out. He gets excited and smiles a ton so we are working on laughing. There is only one thing that gets him so excited and it's located in Canon's bedroom. Every time I place him on the bed, he looks around to recognize where he is and once he figures it out - he immediately looks straight up. He is fascinated with the light fixture. I am not going to tell you what it looks like to me but I am sure you can guess. Anyway - he loves it and we love watching his excitement. I am always too late in grabbing the camera but here is just a snippet of him getting excited about the light - until he figures out that he is being taped and then all action stops. Naturally!

The growling in the background is the dog - I promise.

Baby Update!

Pierson is finally letting us sleep a little bit through the night. He is averaging 7 hours at night - we just need to figure out how to get to bed when he does so it actually feels like 7 for us. He still eats every 2-3 hours but he is starting to show some chub so we are happy. He is not quite the sumo that Blaze was but we hope he catches up. He loves to stand, with assistance, and laugh at his brothers. He tries really hard to talk but barely gets any sound out. He has the cutest smile and makes me incredibly happy. I hope to get pictures of the three boys together soon - those should hopefully turn out better than mine.

Not Much Going On!

Well - I haven't posted pictures for awhile because not much has been going on. The boys have been playing all summer, we haven't really traveled anywhere because of the baby and Canon has been in school. But I have managed to take a couple of pictures, they just aren't that great. Sorry!

What Girls Do.....

I hope I can explain this so you can visualize what happened....

The other day as we were getting ready to watch a movie, I began walking down the stairs when Blaze says, "Mom, I know what girls do" and I ever so sweetly asked him "What do girls do Blaze?", expecting a sweet innocent little comment...

He replies "They go like this" and he begins so sway his hips back and forth from side to side as large as he can all the while making fun of the fact that I do that. Great - my son thinks I sway my hips too big. I better work on that one!

Blessing Day!

Pierson Lawrence Don DeGracie was blessed by his father on Sunday August 3rd, 2008. It was a beautiful blessing and we had a lot of support. We are so grateful for the friends and family we have and the love they have for little Pierson. Thanks to everyone for participating in this special day.
