Heart Attack!!!

I had the best Valentine's Day. Well, other than I had to work! I came home to find that my house had a HEART ATTACK! The boys spent three hours cutting out hearts, and placing them all over the house. And I mean all over - they were in the garage, the hall, on the bed, and all over the walls. It was so cute. They were so excited.

After dinner, we made cookies, decorated them but didn't eat - except for Darren of course, who always eats his cookies. Then we sent the boys on a treasure hunt for their Valentine's gifts. It was so fun to see them run around in excitement just waiting for the end. It ended up being a late night but very fun. I just love my little boys and what sweethearts they have become. I think they will go to any length - just to make sure I end up crying, tears of joy of course!

My Handsome Boys

It's not often that my boys will pose for pictures unless I am totally erratic and start yelling that we are not going anywhere or eating any treats for the day unless I get what I want - and I want pictures. So - this is what I get. Aren't they cute? They are so different - Darren and I are wondering what this next boy will look like considering Canon and Blaze are so different.

He-Man Woman Haters Club

I have to admit - now with ANOTHER boy on the way - that I am certainly a minority in my own home. Sadly - there will never be pink, or Barbies, or dolls, or hair ribbons, or dresses or all the wonderful things that come with girls. Even sadder - if that is a word - I will forever live with 4 BOYS.

After waking to 4 feet of snow - my oldest (Darren) rounds up the boys to create a "He-Man Woman Haters" fort in the back yard. The snow was too deep and heavy but they constructed the base at least and a cone in the middle of the fort for the "flag". Darren told all he talked to yesterday about this fort and I didn't stand a chance walking outside to see it. Blaze was yelling - make me a snowball, hurry, here comes a girl.

I will post the pictures of this fort as soon as I am allowed close enough without being pelted!

I am sure most of you are experiencing the tremendous snowfall but for those of you in Sunny California - get a load of this. This morning we woke up to an early morning phone call informing us that church was cancelled due to the weather. I have to admit that I was quite excited - sorry - no offense. We hadn't made it out of bed yet so as we opened the blinds - we were shocked to find more that 2 feet of snow already on the ground with winds still blowing the snow faster than it was falling. It was IN our garage, up the doors and the windows - the deepest I remember seeing. When it finally stopped - I sent Darren out to shovel the driveway - check out how deep the snow was IN THE DRIVEWAY! It was amazing.

Okay - I am trying this again. I realize it has been a long time and mostly due to frustration. What is funny is I look at everyone's blogs everyday and am slightly bugged when it's the same as the day before. Only because I love reading what everyone is up to. And then - me - I don't update for months and think nothing of it. Sorry about that.

Well - I finally got the new camera out and figured out how to download my pictures. Now - I know that I am not a photographer YET, but this is what I have done so far. To me - it's pretty amazing compared to what I have taken in the past. I am still learning. Jaime? Abby? Can I hire you for professional lessons?
